 Are all items in your catalogue for sale? Yes. All items shown are available subject to prior sale but may have been placed on hold for another customer pending receipt of payment. Not all of our items are listed online, please email wishlist@maryantiques.com if you did not find it in our catalogue.
What condition are your items in? Virtually all merchandise we offer for sale is used and unless otherwise noted should be assumed to be in very good or better condition, which means there may be signs of age or light wear. We try to note manufacturing flaws or unusual signs of wear whenever possible and we do not offer damaged items for sale unless they are very rare or unusual.
How do I order? Please use checkout or buy it now to enter our shopping cart. We understand that people change their minds. As a courtesy to us and to other customers who may want to order the same item, please let us know if you subsequently decide against ordering. What is your preferred form of payment? We currently accept paypal, $US checks, domestic and international money orders, western union. We do not accept direct bank transfers, nor do we accept checks or money orders in foreign currencies.
How do I pay? US Customers: To pay by credit card, or direct bank transfer from your checking account, we suggest that our customers use paypal. It's fast, free (for buyers) and secure. Payment should be received within that time, otherwise the items may be returned to our catalogue and your order will be considered void. If you prefer to pay by check or money order, your item(s) will be placed on hold for 7 days pending receipt of payment, from the date you receive your order confirmation/final invoice. We will ship your order within 5 days of receipt if you pay by money order, checks are held until they clear -- 7- 10 business days.
Is my order secure? Yes. Your privacy and security is of major importance to us. Do you charge state sales tax? Within New York State, we must collect 8.25% sales tax, all other states are exempt.
When does my invoice have to be paid? The item must be paid for within 24 hours if using paypal and, unless payment is arriving from overseas, within 7 days of final invoice receipt if paying by money order or alternate method (see payment methods). For an extension please email us. If payment does not arrive within the agreed time frame your order may be void and the item returned to our catalogue.
How do you ship and how much does it cost? For orders shipping within the United States, we ship via UPS, or USPS Priority Mail. Larger items and artwork are shipped via Fed-Ex. Shipping is calculated by zip code, Country and weight. All shipping quotes include insurance and tracking. You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the email Invoice you will receive within 12 hours confirming your order.
Do you ship worldwide? We ship to most but not all countries, including most countries in Europe. Feel free to ask if we ship to your country. Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
When will my order be shipped? The majority of our orders are shipped within 5 days of payment receipt. You will receive an invoice with the tracking number when your item is shipped. If there is a reason why your order cannot be fulfilled, (eg. backorder) we will contact you.
How can I view the status of my order? When your item is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email of your purchase along with a tracking number so you can track your package in transit via maryantiques.com or the carriers website. How do I track my package on maryantiques.com? Go to the Customer Service page. If you have registered with maryantiques.com and are signed in, this page automatically lists all of your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view. If you have not registered, just type in the order confirmation number on your confirmation invoice and you will be able to view your order status.
What is your Return and Exchange policy? Please see all photos and feel free to email if you have any questions about an item before you place an order. We do not send items on approval. Though we generally do take returns. To return an item, go to Our Policies page and follow our return instructions. Make sure you email us at returns@maryantiques.com within 3 days of receiving the item!!! We are committed to resolving all issues to your satisfaction!!!
How often do you add new items to the website? We add new products weekly. Check back often.
If it is not on your website, can you get it for me? Not all of our products are in our online catalogue. We may already have what you are looking for. maryantiques.com also offers a Wish List service for our customers. If there are any particular items you are looking for, just email us a wish list and if it is not already in our stock, we'll assist in locating the items you desire, email: wishlist@maryantiques.com
Do you offer gift wrapping? Yes we do! We will gift wrap and add a card to any item you purchase for an additional $5.00.
Do you offer gift certificates? Gift certificates are available in $5.00 increments, and are mailed free of charge with a card using first class mail. There is a fee for overnight mail.

Are your prices flexible? Generally, No! We occasionally mark down items. Prices are subject to change at any time.

Yes, we frequently are offered individual items or entire collections. If you want to sell something, first send us an email explaining what you have, the condition, and the price. You can expect a quick response and if we are interested you should send us photos. We can then decide whether we can buy your items or not.
Do you accept items on consignment? Occasionally we accept special and high end items for consignment. The terms are worked out on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to consign something, first send us a photo and an email detailing the item or items, include, size, condition and your net asking price.
