GORGEOUS ANTIQUE FOLK ART MARQUETRY RAILROAD CROSSING
Detailed marquetry artwork, of a railroad crossing post. Marquetry is the ancient art craft of inlaying different woods, and other natural materials to create a picture. This is folk art at its best. This is signed with initials, but illegible. Picture has a chain to hang it attached to top. There are two holes on the bottom center, there may have been a plaque or other hanging device in them at one time.

Detailed marquetry artwork, of a sailboat on the water. Marquetry is the ancient art craft of inlaying different woods, and other natural materials to create a picture. The detail formed by the artist is incredible, the shoreline, boat, water and scrollwork frame are beautifully detailed by the artist. Due to its age there are hairline cracks in the wood, which are unnoticeable. This is signed, but illegible.

This vase is heavily glazed with Audubon style bird painting under glaze and gold trim. It is has gold trim around the top rim which varies in thickness and is a bit uneven. Unsigned. Its previous owner had put felt on the bottom which is partially removed. This is crazed due to its age.
