Tommi Parzinger (b. 1903 Germany, died in U.S. 1981) was a prolific and versatile designer of furniture, fabrics, lighting, tableware, porcelain and many other items including handwrought silver and silverplate. Parzingers designs from each period can be distinguished by their marks. In 1952-53 Parzinger designed a number of objects for Dorlyn Silversmiths, New York. The 'R' in the mark probably refers to Otto Rasmussen, a Dane who executed silver for Parzinger.
