FREDERICK POST COMPANY CAST IRON PENCIL SHARPENER WITH BOX AND INSTRUCTIONS The sharpener is in great shape. Put a pencil in and turn to get a super fine point. The shapener is red with black top. Bottom desk protector intact. Bottom imprint Pat applied for and the numbers 9 or 6 Box is bright red. Post logo is clear letters in gold oval. The box itself is worn from age. The instructions are covered with lead pencil shavings. Please see photos. Top of box has Post logo; 3026; tru-point pencil pointer produces long slender true needle point for fine line work of all kinds. Two of its four sides mirror each other with the logo, Post 3026 Frederick Post company Chicago. Another side reads, Tru-point pencil pointer; Durable practical, clean; Designed primarily for pointing leads of draftsmens mechanical pencils; although it will also point leads of wood pencils, after the wood has been cut back by either a machine or knife. The last side reads, Tru-point pencil pointer for draftsmen, engineers, artists, accountants, etc. Produces long, slender, true needlepoint for Fine Line work of all kinds.
