Detailed marquetry artwork, of a railroad crossing post. Marquetry is the ancient art craft of inlaying different woods, and other natural materials to create a picture. This is folk art at its best. This is signed with initials, but illegible. Picture has a chain to hang it attached to top. There are two holes on the bottom center, there may have been a plaque or other hanging device in them at one time.
